They come from a diverse background of highly skilled and experienced executives. The team offers tertiary qualifications with many years of experience in developing innovative housing models by having worked within the commercial, public and community residential property sector.

Andrea Galloway has been the CEO of Evolve Housing for 18 months and in that time has overseen considerable growth of the organisation, professionalised the image and introduced a range of new services to tenants and stakeholders. Andrea has over 25 years of executive management experience gained in strategic planning, business development and quality customer service delivery in both national and multinational commercial organisations. Andrea has held positions such as Asia-Pacific President of Spherion, Asia-Pacific CEO of Dutch ICT services and education firm Pink Roccade, Vice-President of Lucent Technologies Switching Solutions Group, CEO of AT&T Australia, Managing Director of AT&T’s carrier services and General Manager of AT&T Easylink Services in the South Pacific.
Andrea has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from National University in San Diego and is a graduate of the Executive Program from the University of Michigan. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD), a Justice of the Peace and holds a Property Development and Real Estate License.
The Executive Leadership Team (ELT), led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is responsible for providing effective senior leadership to the organisation, strategy development, successful business plan implementation and the ongoing management of people and performance. The BLT is made up of the senior management roles depicted in the photos on this page.
The team meet regularly to discuss key operational issues, resolve obstacles preventing achievement of strategic objectives, monitor performance, and manage risks and compliance. The team is accountable to the Board through transparent monthly reporting mechanisms and quarterly performance updates against strategic objectives.
Essentially, the aim of the Business Leadership Team is to lead and manage their business units on the CEO’s behalf, allowing the CEO to focus on high-level issues, such as securing financial resources, building strong key external stakeholder relationships and raising awareness of the organisation both in and outside of the sector.
Marketing and Communications Manager

Jody is a successful sales and marketing professional who has over 25 years experience. Jody has a solid commercial background having worked on some of the world’s most recognised brands, and the world’s, most successful FMCG companies including Unilever, Nestle, Douwe Egberts, Goodman Fielder and Phillip Morris.
A strong leader and passionate marketer prior to joining Evolve Housing she was the Sales and Marketing Director of a multimillion dollar service business competing in the building and construction industry. Jody has a strong strategic background with experience developing business strategies and change programs to reposition both companies and brands.
People and Culture (HR) Manager

Katherine Starr is a human resources professional with over 15 years of hands on experience in the corporate world primarily acquired through the finance and FMCG industries whilst in the employ of AMP, Legrand Australia (now HPM Legrand), Perpetual Financial Services and OSRAM Australia (a subsidiary of Siemens Australia).
Katherine is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and actively seeks opportunities for personal and professional development. She holds a Diploma of Human Resources Management, a Certificate IV in Human Resources and Frontline Management, is a qualified Health Safety Representative and a previous participant in the AHRI Mentoring Program.
As People & Culture Manager, Katherine strives to successfully strike a balance between the delivery of both operational and strategic human resource services, underpinned by a robust human resource framework. Katherine takes pride in providing credible support to employees and management and proactively undertakes process improvement activities to ensure we embody a best practice organisation.
Group General Manager

In November 2013 Mark Lenic joined Evolve Housing as the new General Manager for Housing and Property Services. Mark brings over 23 years of experience from the NSW housing sector, including a great deal of operational management expertise in all facets of Housing and Property Services. Prior to joining Evolve Housing, Mark was the General Manager of the Housing NSW Contact Centre in which he led a team of 230 staff, managing 125,000 properties and 1.5 million interactions through telephone, email and other communication channels, as well as handling over 350,000 work orders per year. In this role, Mark was successful in driving and securing, through a tender process, other projects for the contact centre.
Mark’s other leadership roles encompassed contract management, tenancy and resident management and asset planning. Throughout the years Mark worked with Housing NSW, in the role of Technical Officer, Works Manager, Client Service Team Leader and Area Manager in Western Sydney. As a strategic leader with over 23 years of experience in the sector, Mark wishes to further increase Evolve Housing’s delivery of services, including maintenance efficiencies through process reviews.
General Manager Asset Development and Strategic Growth

Peter Malone is the General Manager, Development and Strategic Growth and has worked for Evolve Housing since 2004. Peter has held roles at Ansett Australia and Defence Housing Authority managing the asset portfolio and acquisitions. In his role at Defence Housing he was responsible for acquiring properties that were then placed on the sale and lease-back program.
On behalf of Evolve Housing, Peter has managed a number of large development projects; he has secured 248 units for Evolve Housing over the past four years using the Debit Equity and Social Housing Growth Funds. Peter has partnered with developers to submit NRAS applications and won more than 400 incentives for dwellings that are or will be managed by Evolve Housing. He has overseen more than $49.4 million worth of projects over the past 4 years; including the development of multi-storey apartment blocks including a block of 32 units in Mt Druitt and is currently in the process of developing 30 units in High Street Harris Park and 27 units in Werrington as part of this funding.
Peter has used methodologies and tools to ensure the dwellings purchased or built meet the needs of tenants and are located in proximity to schools, services, transport, and facilities thereby offering residents the greatest opportunity to engage in their community. Peter has acquired these properties for Evolve Housing at a price below the value of the independent valuation reports and has negotiated with developers to include adaptable units as well as high quality fixtures and fittings. He also pursues benefits such as low cost energy features and green options.
Chief Financial Officer

Tatiana Oldyreva-Green has been Evolve Housing’s Chief Financial Officer since 2008. As CFO for Evolve Housing Tatiana has secured lending from financiers for a property portfolio worth over $50m and participated and contributed to development of pilot for NSW Registration process, NRAS consultations and industry wide changes that transformed housing providers from small co-operatives to national and influential organisations like Evolve Housing.
Tatiana has been a member of CPA Australia since 2003, and is a member of Compliance Institute of Australasia; holds a degree in Business and Masters in Accounting and Finance, Diploma in Management and is active participant in industry forums such as HIA, NSW Federation of Housing and Power Housing Australia.
Tatiana came to the not-for-profit sector with experience in senior corporate finance roles; previously holding position as a CFO for Australia and New Zealand with global telecommunications giant HTC Corporation and as a Financial Controller for ING Holdings. Tatiana started her career in finance, property and maritime construction almost 15 years ago working on the Sydney Park development in Erskineville; Excelsior Apartments in Sydney; Catalina development in Queenscliff; Redevelopment of Rex hotel in Kings Cross; and the management of Goldsbrough redevelopment and observatory towers in Sydney.
