Chairperson
Rosemary is a Director of Interdependent, a Registered Training Organisation. Interdependent specialises in designing organisation systems and supporting sound implementation through change management and the facilitation of learning, supported by customised software. Rosemary has developed organisational performance systems such as competency, leadership capability and career systems for public and private sector organisations. A key aspect of Rosemary’s work has been the analysis, design and the facilitation of organisational change.
Paul is Joint Managing Director, Wright Corporate Strategy, which he joined as a Partner in 1997. He has more than 38 years experience in the private sector. and specialises in policy and strategy in the environment and waste management sectors. Paul has extensive experience advising governments and private sector organisations. He is engaged to advised three not-for-profit organisations —RSPCA, EcoForum and ACHL.
Alex has been Managing Director of the Domain Group of companies since 1992 and has overseen Property development, real estate investments and financing business from the time of conception to completion. With assets in excess of $83 million, the Domain Group of companies includes a building company, a property management company and a property acquisition company, which employ up to 100 staff.
Alex has a bachelor of Engineering, majoring in Electronics; he is a Member of the Housing Industry Association and the Institute of Real Estate.
Bruce recently retired after more than 20 years as a senior officer of Penrith City Council. From 1994 to 2005 he was the Director of City Strategy and Deputy General Manager. His principal responsibilities included; developing Council’s Strategic Plan for the City and its four-year Strategic Program; regional and metropolitan Planning; and preparing of Council’s annual management plan.
Bruce maintains an interest in the industry and and runs a small consulting practice, maintaining a working knowledge of current planning, provisions, practice and issues.
He is currently employed part time by Hunters Hill Council as its Strategic Planner.
David is recently retired after 40 years in local government, including 23 years as a CEO. David worked in seven local authorities, Penrith City, Wollondilly Shire, Windsor Municipal, Hawkesbury City, Dungog Shire, Liverpool City and Baulkham Hills Shire.
He was shire clerk at Dungog, Town Clerk/City Manager at Liverpool, and General Manager at Baulkham Hills. The performance of those councils improved significantly David's stewardship, as demonstrated by the number of awards received from both within and outside the industry. David also served on the board of the Local Government Managers Australia (NSW) for four years.
Beata is Managing Director of Art of Multimedia, an integrated communication provider to leading government and community organisations, corporations and businesses across diverse industries.
Beata has 25 years experience in sales and marketing, communication and management. She specialises in strategic and technical direction of brand, customer, as well as internal communication solutions her company develops for diverse clients.
Her company's clients include Sydney Water, Campbell Arnotts, Qantas, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Transfield Services, McWilliams Wines, Australian Museum, CSIRO Discovery Centre, OneSteel, Parramatta City Council, Ageing, Disability and Home Care and others.
Mountaha is a former member of Small Business, Development Corporation Board and founding Western Sydney IT Cluster Board member.
She has extensive experience in all facets of business management. In 1986 she established her own business and after 10 years Mountaha was running three restaurants in Gordon, Crows Nest and in Queensland, employing 15 to 20 staff.
Since becoming a ACHL tenant, Mountaha has worked selflessly to assist other tenants and applicants for community housing. She has extensive experience working with not for profit organizations, and is currently on the board of the Islamic Women’s Welfare Association a position she has held for the past two years. Mountaha also represented Cumberland Housing on the Community Housing Tenant Network run by the Federation of NSW Housing.
Prior to becoming a director of Affordable Community Housing Limited (ACHL) Mountaha was a member of ACHL Tenant Engagement Committee whose primary role was to monitor and advise the Board in relation to the provision of tenant services During Mountaha’s term as the president of the Committee ACHL was awarded the “Excellence in Tenant Participation and Services to Tenants” by the NSW Federation of Housing.
Alan is managing director of UPDM Pty Limited, a private company offering specialist advisory services in, strategic planning and corporate governance, resources utilisation, and property development, marketing and sales.
Alan has over 35 years experience in urban, regional and community development. He is chairman of Norwest Association Limited and as managing director of Norwest Land, was responsible for the planning, development and marketing of Norwest Business Park in Sydney, Australia. Alan is also a director of Reit Capital Pty Limited and member of the board of Edmund Rice Education Australia.
Alan is strongly involved with a number of community organisations and currently acts as chairman of the Salvation Army Western Sydney Advisory Board, as chairman of The Hills Shire Council Bella Vista Farm Park Committee, as a director of the Millennium.
In 2009, Alan was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his service to the community of northâwestern Sydney through contributions to the region’s infrastructure development and through a range of charitable organisations. Alan has a Bachelor of Business; he is a member of the Australian Local Government Association and a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountant and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
