Fostering tenant engagements is of crucial importance to ACHL and is at the cornerstone of many of our initiatives. ACHL hosted a variety of tenant events over the winter and spring months.

July holidays saw ACHL tenants’ children gather at Parramatta Town Hall to enjoy a day of movies, popcorn, snacks and fun activities. While in September, tenants enjoyed a breathtaking outing on the historic Nepean Paddle Wheeler through the Blue Mountains National Park with all its amazing flora and fauna.

One tenant, Denise, commented: "It meant so much to be on the water. I have always loved getting on boats. However, since the loss of my legs, it’s been very limiting for me. A big thank to ACHL for this lovely day."

The October school holidays provided the perfect opportunity for a picnic in Parramatta Park, with a twist – children were able to participate in a unique kung fu demonstration. Adults used the perfect weather to relax as well as catch up with ACHL staff.
